For Robin's Birthday, Robin, Ryan and myself went to Bamford Edge in the Peak District on a cool & misty Thursday

The first 'warm-up' climb was a "nice gentle" crack climb. Thanks Ryan!
Quien Sabe? - VS 4c

Nicely warmed up, Robin chose Quien Sabe?, sharing the same start as Brown's Crack but veering off to the left at the first break
Then we had a break for a bit of food, and cake!
Bilberry Crack VS 5a

Then I felt good for trying my first VS 5a lead and Bilberry Crack was nearby. I over thought it - deciding to do the splits when I didn't need to, not bridge in places I should, and ultimatly burn from all the laybacking and take a fall a couple of moves from the top. Lesson learned (and one I'm not allowed to forget)....BRIDGE!
