We chose Standage Plantation as the venue for our 3rd of 3 planned Thursdays off, with Rachel, Robin, Ryan, and myself able to make the full day

Robin led Ryan up The Coign (HS 4b) while I led Rachel up Wall End Crack Direct (HS 4b)

We moved to Paradise Wall where Ryan led Robin up Paradise Wall (HS 4b) while I led Rachel up Paradise Arete (VS 4c).  We then swapped routes.

Moving to Tower Face, Ryan led Tower Face Indirect (VS 4b).  An attempt that didn't finish as he couldn't make the transition to the traverse and had to abort. Meanwhile Rachel and I were doing Tower Face Gully/Terrace Gully (HVD).  I led the first part to the belay ledge.  When Rachel joined me we had a few minutes practicing belay setups as Rachel wanted to attempt leading the top section.  She gave it a valient attempt, however the top move was too exposed for her liking and came back down.  I made it, but a HVD move it was not!  More like a HS at the very least!

We walked back to Goliath's Grove area so Rachel could lead Jammed Stone Gully (VD) with me seconding, while Robin started up Wall End Flake Crack (VS 4c).  Robin couldn't quite make the full route, struggling to start up the crack after the holly bush.  I thought a crack challange would suit my strengths so gave it a shot.  It was a pumpy, burley climb but I made it to the top.  Ryan seconded to complete the days climb
